Members of CODC performed in the show next to the Milwaukee Ballet Academy students. Then, the Joan of Arc- Iron/Fire/Breath production premiered at Marquette University's Helfaer Theatre which included dance, theatre, spoken word, and choral music, all performed by the MU students as a part of the $20,000 MU Way-Klingler Teaching Enhancement Grant that I received along with Connie Petersen, Dr. Sarah Wadsworth, Lynne Shumow, and Dr. Susan Mountin.
In May, I directed a solo created by and for Kassie Tiedjens, a student at both Milwaukee Ballet Academy and at Pius XI High School, at Fr. Carney Performing Art Center for the Pius XI High Spring Dance Concert. I also visited New York City to perform a solo at 92Y's 50th Anniversary of Fridays at Noon showcase.
In June, I returned to NYC to perform a solo in Spoke the Hub's Local Produce in Brooklyn. I also taught and performed a solo in Madison with Li Chiao-Ping Dance.
In August, CODC performed 2 new works in the 2nd annual MKE Fringe Festival.
In September, I directed a structured improvisation with Marquette University Dance at the Haggerty Museum of Art Benefit at the Wisconsin Club.
In December, ON DISPLAY/Milwaukee will return to Marquette University's Haggerty Museum of Art with CODC and 12 additional movers/non-movers from Milwaukee's community.
